FINAL STAGE PROJECT FUNDING FOR ST CLARES CATHOLIC SCHOOL
Categories: Electorate
Funding for the final stage of proposed works at St Clare’s Catholic School at North Shore has this week been welcomed by Member for Hinchinbrook, Andrew Cripps.
The Queensland Government Capital Assistance Scheme for capital works at non-state schools has approved $2,003,024 for the allocated project.
“Funding has been made available for the completion of the final stage of works at St Clare’s Catholic School at North Shore, which will see the construction of a new library, IT room, learning support room and multipurpose room; as well as the conversion of the old library to general learning areas and administration,” Mr Cripps said.
“It is important that we keep up with the growing and evolving needs of education in the Hinchinbrook electorate, and these funds have been allocated to allow St Clare’s Catholic School at North Shore to do just that.”
“I am exceptionally proud of the outstanding commitment to education afforded by all of the schools in Hinchinbrook electorate, and with the assistance of this funding, St Clare’s Catholic School at North Shore will continue to deliver above and beyond these exacting standards,” said Mr Cripps.
