Work is about to commence on fixed wireless sites at Mourilyan Harbour, Bulgan and Silkwood, improving internet speeds for local users Member for Hinchinbrook, Andrew Cripps MP, said today.

“Residents in these areas will start to see some movement in terms of clearing and preparing sites in readiness for tower construction,” Mr Cripps said.

“The NBN will provide families in the region with improved internet connections, speed and data allowances.”

For those interested in finding our more, a community information session will be held in Innisfail on Tuesday 15^th September 2015 at the Innisfail Disaster Management Centre, 11 Flying Fish Point Road, Innisfail. This session will run from 9.30am – 10.30am.
